The Barque Eagle Division is a self sustaining 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) Youth Orginazation and depends on donations for our programs. We have just started a Sail Training Program and we are in need of funding for insurance, gear, etc. Corporate and individual donations are always welcome and are tax deductable.

The Barque Eagle Division is a combined unit of the NSCC/NLCC located at the Naval Reserve Center in Plainville, CT.  The Division has been serving youth in the central Connecticut area since 1972, with cadets and adult staff coming from across Connecticut and southern Massachusetts. read more ...

Cadets must attend 75% of all scheduled drills, which is 30 out of 40 drills per year. Barque Eagle work days and parades count as drills. (Remember that weekend drills count as 2). Any Cadet missing 10 or more drills per September to June class year is subject to being discharged from NSCC/NLCC. Special considerations will be made on a per Cadet basis for special circumstances (e.g. prolonged illness, etc.)
